What is a POS?
A POS system (Point of Sale) is the system you use to process orders and payments in your business. The POS is what lets you take payment and complete a sale. OrderBilly integrates with a wide range of POS systems, including Lightspeed, UNTILL, Touchsystems, Deliverect, and many more.
Billy is a software that works on top of your POS. While your POS handles payments, Billy focuses on managing the menu and the ordering process. With Billy, you can:
Create and update digital menus for dine-in, takeaway, or kiosks
Manage orders that come in online or through kiosks
Customize menu display and categories to improve the customer experience
Billy does not handle payments. Once an order is placed, it is sent to your POS for payment and final processing.
Where can you see which POS system you’re using?
Go to Settings → POS Integration. Here you’ll see which POS system is connected to your account.
