How to check order error messages

If an order has not been processed correctly, you can check the error message in the back office.

  1. Go to Orders.

  2. Open the relevant order.

  3. Click Details.

  4. Select Go to detail page.

  5. Scroll down to the Operations section to view the error messages.

Error: Not processed before validity ended

If you see the error message "Not processed before validity ended", it means that the Lightspeed POS app was not open on the iPad when the order was sent from orderBilly.

Because the Lightspeed app was inactive, the order could not be delivered to the POS.

How to prevent this

To ensure orders are always received correctly:

  • Keep the Lightspeed POS app open on the iPad at all times.

  • Do not switch to another app while the system is in use.

  • If the app is accidentally closed or another app is opened, return to the Lightspeed POS app as soon as possible.

This will allow incoming orders from orderBilly to be processed correctly.
