Ran out of a product? Mark it as sold out. Your customers still see the product on your menu with a 'Sold out' label, but they can't order it. As soon as the product is back, you make it available again.
How to mark a product or addition as sold out
Go to Dashboard and open the Availability Manager by clicking on 'Manage'
Here, you will be able to search for a product and to
Mark it out of stock
Pause it temporarily, for 15min, 30min, 1hour, tomorrow (the product or addition will be available again at 07:00 tomorrow) or for a custom amount of time (set date + hour). When that time has passed, the product becomes available again by itself. No need to remember to switch it back.
Click Pause. Done ✅
Before clicking on 'Manage', you can also find all products and/or additions marked as out of stock or paused. You will see that you can filter only on additions or products, and only show the ones marked as out of stock or paused.
If a product or addition is already marked out of stock, you won't find it via the search bar.

How to make it available again
Go to the Availability Manager via Dashboard
Select one of the products in the list.
Click on 'Restore'.
Would you rather hide sold-out products?
By default, sold-out products stay visible on your menu with a 'Sold out' label. Prefer to hide them completely? Switch on Hide unavailable products in the settings of your menu. Sold-out products then disappear from that menu until they're available again.
Connected to a POS?
Some POS systems can share their stock with orderBilly. If Sync stock is switched on in your POS sync settings, your POS can mark products as sold out, or as available again, automatically. A sync can then undo a change you made in orderBilly. Want to manage stock in orderBilly only? Switch Sync stock off.
Using stock management? A product whose stock count reaches 0 is not marked as sold out automatically. Mark it as sold out yourself, or let your POS stock sync do it.
