Want to double-check everything before going live? Smart move! Placing a test order in orderBilly is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below:
✅ Switch your payment method to test mode
Go to your orderBilly backoffice.
Click on ‘Settings’ → ‘Payment Methods’.
Click the settings icon next to your payment provider (e.g. Mollie).
Enable the ‘Test Mode’ toggle.
⚠️ Heads-up: Test mode applies to all active menus in your account. Best to activate it when there are no real customers around or when ordering is temporarily disabled.
🧪 Time to test!
Open your menu via the QR code or your website.
Select one or more products.
Proceed to place your order.
Choose ‘Bancontact’ as the payment method.
You’ll land on a test page – check ‘Paid’ and hit ‘Continue’.
And just like that – your test order is placed!
🧼 Don’t forget:
Turn test mode off once you're done.
Remove the test order from your POS to keep your daily revenue accurate.
