Mollie is the payment provider your guests pay with on your orderBilly menu and kiosk. The money goes directly to your own Mollie account, and Mollie pays it out to your bank account.
š Linking Mollie for the first time? Use Mollie Connect
With Mollie Connect you link your Mollie account in a few clicks, straight from the backoffice. You don't need to create or copy a live key.
In the backoffice, go to Payment methods.
Click Configure next to Mollie Connect.
Log in to Mollie (or create an account) and approve the permissions.
Back in orderBilly, choose the Profile and Balance for this venue.
Make sure test mode is turned off.

š Switching to a new Mollie account
Did your business change, for example from a sole proprietorship to a company, and do you have a new Mollie account?
Make sure the new Mollie account is fully activated (see below).
In Payment methods, connect the new account via Mollie Connect and pick the new Profile and Balance.
Using Mollie payment terminals at your kiosk or counter? They are linked to your old Mollie account. Ask Mollie to move them to your new account, then let us know via the chat so we can link them again.
ā³ Mollie isn't active yet
Is everything linked in orderBilly, but do payments still show "awaiting activation" or "En attente" in Mollie? Then Mollie is still waiting for information from you. This is not a setting in orderBilly. In your Mollie account:
Fill in your company details, business activity and stakeholders.
Upload the front and back of the ID card of the business manager.
Confirm your bank account with a transfer of ā¬0.01.
Activate online payments and in-person payments.
Activate Bancontact, iDEAL and the other methods you want on the profile you chose in orderBilly.
Good to know: payments and payouts are activated separately by Mollie. Mollie can already accept payments while it is still checking your details for payouts. Read how to change your payout settings.
