A guide on how to make your orderBilly menu perform better and push sales in a customer friendly approach.

Updated over 3 months ago

orderBilly is not only an easy and modern approach on ordering, it's also a performance tool to boost your sales in an automated way.

Let's dive in all the different Selling Tools and how to set them up.

Go to the orderBilly backoffice and select 'Selling Tools'

  1. Product Spotlights
The goal of the Spotlight functionality is to highlight products at the top of your menu. You can easily showcase all your veggie options, your daily specials or a new range of products.
You click on 'add spotlight' and then you can determine:
    - The spotlight name
    - The specific menu where it should appear
    - A description to add to the spotlight
    - The products you'd like to highlight

Once the spotlight is setup, it will appear like this on your menu:

  2. Recommendations
Suggest products that go well together and at the same time, boost your sales.
Do a wine or beer pairing with some bar bites, give some dessert options to main dishes or propose some sides to your delicious burgers.
Recommendations are proposed when clicking on the source product on the orderBilly menu.

You click on 'add recommendation' and you can setup the recommendation:

    • Name - Recommendation name

    • Description - give a little explanation why you'd recommend those products

    • Minimum selectable amount - activate when you want your customers to at least select one of the recommendations, for example an obligatory side to a burger

    • Maximum selectable amount - activate when there's a limit in products a customer can select as a recommendation

    • Visible - Make the recommendation appear on your menu

    • Multiselect - You can choose the same recommendation multiple times

    • Source product - The product where the recommended products should appear

    • Recommended products - The recommendations to the source products

on your menu, this is the result:
You'll see that the recommended products are nicely showcased when clicking on the source product.

    Happy recommending! 😎

  3. Upsell
The goal here is to increase the value of the basket by switching a specific amount of smaller products into 1 or more larger products of the same product family.
Why don't you take the bottle instead of 3 glasses of wine? Would you like a bucket of Corona instead of 2 bottles? May we propose the 50cl beer instead of the 25cl one?
The upsell functionality happens in the basket.

You click on 'add upsell' and you can setup the upsell:

    • Amount - The amount of times the suggested product should be selected in the basket if the customer decides to take the upsell

    • Maximum order product - the maximum amount of times the source product should be selected in order to propose the upsell

    • Minimum order product - the minimum amount of times the source product should be selected in order to propose the upsell

    • Priority - if there are many upsells installed, and also chosen by the customer in the orderBilly menu, orderBilly will only show a max of 5 upsell options in the basket in order to prevent too pushy sales. By selecting priority, you can determine which of the upsells are the most important to you. Those will have priority on the upsell without priority.

The result on the menu, in the basket:
