OrderBilly has multiple menu options. Depending on the chosen option, you'll be either able to change your 'Opening & hours' or your 'Timetable'.
Opening Hours
For all 'eat-in' menus, you'll be able to modify the menu 'Opening hours'.
In the orderBilly backoffice you can go to 'Menus' and then click on 'opening hours'You can see 3 options in the 'Force open & close' section.
Force open - the menu is permanently opened
Follow opening hours - the menu will follow the opening hours as installed below.
You can choose multiple slots per day where the menu is opened and accessible for your customers to place orders.Force closed - the menu is permanently closed
Takeout Timeslots
For all Take-away and Delivery menus, you'll be able to modify the 'takeout timeslots' and also the opening hours.
Most of the time, a Delivery or Take-Away menu is always active and the only limit can be found in the pick-up/delivery days. This means you'll be able to order for example at 3am but you can only choose between 5pm and 9pm to go pick-up your order for example.
But if you want, you can also modify the availability of the menu itself by installing 'opening hours'.For take-out and Delivery menus, there are 2 options
Recurring timeslots - day to day take-away and delivery
In the recurring timeslots you can determine the hours between which the customer can choose to come and collect the order or choose a delivery moment. There are also a few options you can determine to optimize incoming orders:
Takeout buffer time - The minimum time in minutes between placing an order and collecting/delivering the order. The minimal average preparation time of an order. Most clients have a range between 10 to 30 minutes for this setting.
Takeout slot interval - The time between timeslots in minutes. If your timeslots on wednesday are between 5pm and 9pm for example, the interval will determine the specific times a customer can choose to collect the order.
When you add for example a interval time of 10min, your customer will be able to choose between 5.00pm - 5.10pm - 5.20pm and so on. Most clients have a range between 5 and 30 minutes.
Amount of days a customer can order ahead of time - The maximum limit of time in the future a customer can place an order, expressed in days. If its 7 days as in the example and today is Monday, a client can ultimately choose next Monday as order pick-up/delivery date.
Amount of minutes a customer can order ahead of time - The maximum limit of time in the future a customer can place an order, expressed in minutes. We added this one because it should be possible to limit these orders to 7 days and 12h for example and not just 7 days. That's why the minutes is also important to complete. If you just like 7 days, you can multiply 1440 (#minutes in a day) with the number of days and fill in the number that comes out.
Delivery Radius - The desired Delivery radius, expressed in meters. If you'd like to add a radius of 10km, you should fill in 10000 in this field. Also know that you should fill in your company adress so we can have a starting point for this radius. You can fill in your company details by clicking on 'settings' - 'venue' or 'company'
Fixed timeslots - specific day take-away and delivery (easter menu take-away/christmas take-away/end of year deliveries/...)
Here you can determine specific take-out slots for menus with a one-time take-away or delivery. This functionality allows you to launch a menu a long time before the actual pick-up or delivery date. This gives you and your customers the time to place and gather orders and process them correctly.
In those timeslots, you can determine the day and hours between which the customers can come collect their order or get their delivery. You can also determine a max order limit. If for example you're selling breakfast baskets but you only made 100, you can put the max order limit on 100 for one day or 50/50 on 2 days.
