In October we gave chains and Food Halls new tools, made delivery smarter, and brought your full brand look to the guest app.
Here are the highlights:
For your guests
Your full theme in the guest app. The guest ordering app now follows much more of your theme: typography and casing, corner rounding, tile styling, image shapes and header colours. Your brand looks the same on a phone as on a kiosk, and product titles follow your heading style too. Settings you haven't touched change nothing.
Timeslots that can't be overbooked. Timeslots are checked again at payment, which prevents overbooking.
Closed stands stay visible. In Food Halls, closed stands stay visible to guests, labelled as closed, and a closed stand no longer blocks an order from the other stands.
Kiosks
Food Hall loyalty on kiosks. Food Hall kiosks now use the hall's loyalty program.
More printers supported. Kiosks now support STAR and newer EPSON printers.
For venue and organisation managers
Delivery zones now work as a waterfall. An order that doesn't reach one zone's minimum falls through to the next instead of being refused, so you can offer different fees for different order sizes. Takeaway and delivery lists now open with the soonest pickup first.
One branding library for a whole chain. Organisations can build themes once and share them with every venue. Organisations can also set their own name and logo, and dietary labels can have their own colour in the theme.
Refunds and search. The order detail now shows exactly how much can still be refunded, and you can search all vouchers and discount codes at once.
Tickets that fit the order. Receipt blocks can now be set per order type, and kitchen tickets can print just the chosen options. STAR printers also play a sound when a ticket prints.
Now in Spanish. ¡El backoffice ya está disponible en español! 🇪🇸
For Food Halls:
Loyalty for the whole hall. Food Halls have their own Loyalty tab to connect Leat for the whole hall. From there you choose how guests join, which menus earn points and how many rewards a guest can claim per day or per order. Venue loyalty settings get the same reward limits.
Spotlights across stands. Food Halls can now create their own spotlights. One highlighted row can mix products from several stands and change with the time of day.
Better selling tools. Cross-sells can now suggest products from other stands. Discounts, cross-sells and service fees show which stand and menu each product comes from.
Every change on record. A new organisation-wide activity log tracks every change across your venues.
Integrations
Lightspeed K-Series. Nested options now arrive as nested items, so orders show up in the till the way the guest ordered them. Simultaneous orders on one table are also handled correctly: they land on a single account, without delay.
More integrations improved. We also improved syncing with Recreatex (including category images), Untill, Trivec, CloudPOS and Topbrands.
