Your kiosk doesn't have to look the same as your online menu. A big touchscreen often needs bigger text, a different background or its own intro screen. That's why you can choose which theme each kiosk uses.
Which theme does your kiosk use?
orderBilly checks in this order:
The theme set on the kiosk itself. If a kiosk has its own theme, it always uses that one.
The theme of your venue. If the kiosk has no theme of its own, it uses the default theme of your venue, just like your online menu.
Good to know: A kiosk with its own theme ignores the theme of your venue completely. Your online menu is not affected by the theme you choose for a kiosk.
How to choose the theme for a kiosk
Step 1: Create the theme
Go to Themes and create a new theme for your kiosk, or use one you already have. Read how to set up theming for a kiosk.
Step 2: Link the theme to your kiosk
Go to Devices and open the kiosk you want to change.
Go to Configuration
Under Theme, select the theme you want to use.
Click Save. Done ✅
Don't see the new look right away? Reload the kiosk. On a Kiosk V2, you can do this from the kiosk's page in Remote action with Reload app.
Different kiosks, different look
Every kiosk can have its own theme. For example: one theme for the kiosks at your entrance and another one for the kiosk at the bar. Or one theme per brand in a food hall. Just link a different theme to each kiosk.
Want your kiosks to show different menus too?
Kiosk-only settings
Some settings only work on a kiosk, like the logo on the intro screen, the logo in the header and the loyalty banner. You find them in the Kiosk section of your theme.
Always set them on the theme your kiosk actually uses. Changed them on your venue theme, but nothing happens on your kiosk? Then your kiosk probably has its own theme. Change the settings there.
