Not offering an option for now, like a seasonal topping or a sauce you stopped making? Disable it. The option disappears from your menu, but all its settings are kept. Enable it again whenever you like.
How to enable or disable an addition value
Go to Catalogue > Additions and find the addition the value belongs to.
Click Edit, then "Go to detail page".
Scroll to Addition options and click > on the option.
Switch the Enable toggle off to disable the option, or on to enable it again.
Click Save. Done ✅
Good to know: An addition needs at least one enabled option to be shown. Disable all options of an addition, and the whole addition disappears from your menu automatically.
Disabled or out of stock?
Disabled: for an option you don't offer for now. It stays off until you enable it again.
Out of stock: for when you temporarily ran out. You can pause it for a set time, and it comes back by itself. Read How to mark an addition value (temporarily) out of stock.
Disabled an option that was pre-selected or required? Check the minimum amount of the addition, so customers can still complete their order. Read How to set a minimum and maximum number of choices (min, max and multimax).
Connected to a POS?
If orderBilly is connected to your POS, your addition values come from your POS. Enabling and disabling an option is done in orderBilly, following the steps above. It only changes what your customers see on your menu: the option stays in your POS.
