What is a kiosk?
A kiosk is a self-service device that allows customers to place their own orders. You can add kiosks to your business to make it much easier for customers to order independently.
First, there is more information about the hardware itself on this page.
How to add a kiosk?
On the Devices subtab, click Create a New Device and then select Kiosk. You’ll need to fill in a few details - let’s go through them:
Enabled: Toggle this if the device is out of order.
Device Name: Give the kiosk a name.
Kiosk Mode: Choose one of the two types:
Regular Kiosk
Self-Scan Kiosk: Includes a scanner for scanning items
Language:
Leave the Device default, or pick Dutch, French, English, German, Italian or Spanish as the language of your kiosk.
For venues with a POS-connection: you can add a default table id or one for takeaway or one for delivery orders, making sure the orders get correctly processed in your POS system.
Underneath, you can configure whether customers are allowed to pay later, via QR code or payment terminal, specifically for kiosk orders only.
Further below, you can play already a bit with the visuals on your kiosk. You can add the logos, images, or videos that will be displayed on your kiosk.
Here you can add URLs for logos, images, or videos that will be displayed on your kiosk.
At the bottom, you can set the number of columns for product display on the kiosk and adjust the interface scale to make it larger or smaller.
Finally, add the menus that the kiosk will handle and assign the relevant prep locations.
