Mark your products with dietary preferences, like Vegan or Gluten free. They're shown as tags on your products, and customers can filter your menu on them. That way everyone quickly finds what fits their diet.

How to add a dietary preference ('tag') to a product
Go to Catalogue > Products. Find the product in the list and click the pencil on the right, or search for it with the search bar at the top.
Click "Go to detail page" and scroll to Tags.
Select the tag you want to add
Click Save. Done ✅
Good to know: A dietary preference tells customers what a product is suitable for, like 'Gluten free'. An allergen tells them what a product contains, like 'Gluten'. Fill in both, so all your customers are well informed.
Connected to a POS?
Dietary preferences are managed in orderBilly, not in your POS. So you can add and change them following the steps above.
Change the colour of the tags
Dietary preference tags can have their own colour, so they stand out from your other tags. You set it in your theme, under Base colors. Read how to change the theming of your menu.
Choose which dietary preferences your customers see
Not every dietary preference is relevant for your menu. In your venue settings, you can choose which ones your customers see. Read how to restrict visible menu tags.
Want to add your own tags, like 'Chef's special'? Read how to manage tags for a product.
