Options can contain allergens too, like a sauce with mustard or a topping with nuts. Add them to the option, so your customers also see them when they make their choice. With tags, you can label an option, for example as 'Spicy'.
How to add allergens to an addition value
Go to Catalogue > Additions and find the addition the value belongs to.
Click Edit, then "Go to detail page".
Scroll to Addition options and click > on the option.
Select every allergen the option contains. For nuts and grains, you can also choose the exact type, like hazelnut or wheat.
Click Save. Done ✅
What your customers see
Icons on the option: the allergens are shown on the option. The full list is one tap away via the info button.
A warning: customers who indicated they avoid an allergen see an orange warning on every option that contains it.
How to add tags to an addition value
Open the option as described above (steps 1 to 3).
Go to Tags and select the tag you want to add. Need a new one? Create it with a name, and optionally an icon.
Click Save. Done ✅
Good to know: A tag tells customers something about an option, like 'Spicy'. An allergen tells them what an option contains, like 'Mustard'. Fill in both, so all your customers are well informed.

Connected to a POS?
Allergens: some POS systems (Deliverect, Lightspeed K-Series, Simphony and Trivec) can share their allergens with orderBilly. Sync allergens is switched on by default. The allergens from your POS then overwrite the ones in orderBilly with every sync. So either change them in your POS, or switch Sync allergens off to manage them in orderBilly. Read more about your POS sync settings.
Tags: tags are managed in orderBilly, not in your POS. So you can add and change them following the steps above.
