Overview
Apply discounts automatically based on order conditions or allow customers to apply codes at checkout. Set up automatic discounts in Selling Tools for immediate application, or generate unique discount codes in Wallet for customer use.

Set Up Automatic Discounts
Navigate to Selling Tools
Access Selling Tools from your dashboard to configure automatic discounts.
Access Basket Discounts & Fees
Select "Basket discounts & fees" within Selling Tools to manage automatic discounts and service fees.
Add New Automatic Discount
Click "Add automatic discount" to open the configuration form for a new discount rule.
Define Discount Name and Menu
Enter a recognizable name for the discount and select the menu where it will be applied. This ensures the discount appears only where intended.
Set Discount Amount and Type
Specify the discount value and choose between a fixed amount or a percentage to define the customer savings.
Specify Minimum Order Threshold
Enable "Set a minimum order amount" and enter the required value. This ensures the discount applies only to orders meeting the minimum purchase requirement.
Configure Product-Specific Automatic Discounts
Enable Specific Product Discount
Activate the "Only for specific products" toggle to restrict the automatic discount to selected items.
Select Discounted Product
After enabling "Only for specific products," choose the items that will receive the discount from the available list.
Define Required Products for Discount
Enable "Requires specific products" and select the items that must be present in the order for the discount to be applied. This triggers the discount based on the inclusion of specific products.
Required vs. Discounted
Understand the difference: 'Requires specific products' triggers the discount, while 'Only for specific products' determines which items receive the discount.
Save Automatic Discount Configuration
Click "Save" to finalize the automatic discount setup and activate it on your menu.
Create Discount Codes
Navigate to Wallet
Access Wallet from your dashboard to manage discount codes.
Access Discount Codes Section
Within Wallet, navigate to "Discount codes" to view existing codes and create new ones.
Initiate Discount Code Creation
Click "Add discount code +" or "Create discount group +" to open the form for defining a new discount code.
Define Discount Code Details
Enter an internal name for tracking and specify the customer-facing code (e.g., "STAFFDISCOUNT").
Set Discount Amount and Type
Specify the discount value and choose between a fixed amount or a percentage to determine customer savings when the code is used.
Configure Discount Code Usage Limits
Enable "Has general usage limit" and enter the maximum number of times the code can be redeemed to control its total usage.
Set Discount Code Validity Period
Set Discount Code Validity Dates
Enable "Only valid within a certain period" and select the "Valid from" and "Valid until" dates to define the active timeframe for the discount code.
Link Discount Code to Time Slot
Enable "Link a time slot" and configure the desired hours of operation to restrict the discount code's usability to specific times of the day.
Save Discount Code Settings
Click "Save" to finalize the discount code configuration and make it available for customer use.
