How to set up the Mollie Terminal App - T2P

Transform any android device into your own personal staff-order-taking-device!

✅ What do you need?

Make sure your account and device meet these requirements:

  • Your Mollie onboarding is complete

  • Point of Sale is enabled in your Mollie account

  • Your Android device meets the following:

    • Android 10.0 or higher

    • Security patch less than 12 months old

    • Built-in NFC chip

    • 64-bit ARM v8 processor or higher

    • Google Mobile Services (GMS) certified

    • Single-screen device

    • Stable internet connection

    • You've downloaded the 'Mollie Terminal' app from the Google Play store

💡 Mollie Tap devices meet all these requirements by default!


🔍 Retrieve the QR code

  1. Go to your Mollie Dashboard by using your laptop and keep the android device close

  2. Click “Browse” and go to Point of Sale

  3. Click “Add Terminal” → then “Activate Terminal App”

  4. Select your profile

  5. Make sure both Point of Sale and Allow local sales are enabled


⚙️ Activate the Mollie Terminal App

  1. Open the Mollie Terminal App on your android device

  2. Tap “Start setup”

  3. Scan the QR code or manually enter the 24-digit code

  4. Grant the necessary permissions

  5. Tap “Next” – and you’re ready to accept payments 🎉
